I am pleased to share our aims and objectives. In keeping with our motto of “Service to Man is Service to God”, we have, in the short time since our registration, been able to conduct successful programmes that reached out to our primary targets. You can view them on our website. Though our members may form a small team now, we gratefully acknowledge the many volunteers who have actively supported our programmes. The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 posed a challenge to our plans but it triggered our creative and communication skills. We utilised technology to expand our educational, cultural and ethics classes over YouTube and Facebook. Their reach extends our efforts internationally and we look forward to your feedback to help us improve and expand our programmes.
We are continually looking for like-minded organisations to collaborate with or to support us. So far, we have forged good links with the Health Promotion Board and some Hindu temples. We look forward to form similar partnerships with other service-oriented organisations to expand our joint efforts. We also aim to get charity status in the near future. To achieve our goals, we need to increase our membership numbers so that we can apply for charity status and sufficiently fund the programmes for our stated targets. The aim to provide a free health clinic for the needy, foreign workers and domestic helpers in Singapore which will be manned by qualified volunteers is one such target. We look forward to your kind support and participation in our efforts. Join us as a member, volunteer, or sponsor. Your contribution of your time, expertise or support to our efforts will greatly help serve those in our society who need it most.
Thank you,
Raja Ramachandran
